Textile Sc. & Design (Do any 4)

1. Make a market survey and enlist the hottest selling items for your age group. Also write about their price ranges and about the brands that sell them. You can support your report with photographs.

2. Collect swatches of different varieties of cotton, wool, silk, linen, nylon, polyster, rayon etc and make a swatch file.

Make a separate section in the swatch file for blended ones.

3. Visit Dilli Haat and give a reflection on Indian Handicrafts and fabrics. Click close view photographs of different types of special features of each type of product that you see.

4. Surf the net and magazines. Collect the printouts of logos of different and their catchy phrases. (Make a collection and a colorful output will be appreciated.)

5. Show any one of your creative outputs (it could be a product or value addition, painting or collage a portrait or anything of your choice).

6. Make a fabric collage and present a play of colors, prints, textures etc on a half chart paper sheet. Cover the entire sheet with fabric cut outs and the chart paper base should not be visible.
